I need your assistance, What do you think which is better? Using Bootstrap? Or creating self coded a light weight theme for a new website?
Actually I have to create/redo an existing website because it's working so slowly.

Probably both mixed. You must ask your self, why I should make something again if there already exists a good tested library. So I recommend to go with bootstrap and if you want to create something new then write it with standard html etc.

Dear Electon you are right about making it again but as for as my concern I m feeling that it will be extra weighted with bootstrap ...
I feel bootstraps creates so many extra DOM objects like Divs for creating column etc.
