I don't know exact numbers and don't feel like looking for you because it's not your business. :) Lets just say it's a lot though. If I was a rapper, I'd be rappin about it. lol However, I'll say this much, I have various programming skillsets and each one makes me a lot of money. I work for a telecommunications company doing a lot of Business Intelligence / automation programming for them, as well as creating our intranet applications. I also do a lot of SalesForce/Apex stuff for them, which by itself is a nice chunk of money. (In my area, senior SalesForce dev makes around $140k/yr) When I'm not at this job, I'm doing freelance work and working on getting my indie game development company off the ground. Freelance work is nice and generates nice money. Right now I'm not making money from my gaming company since I won't be releasing anything until next year, but its potential is a lot, especially since I'm mainly working on it solo. TLDR; Programmers have the potential to make a LOT of money. It's a good career choice if you have the mind for it.

@Forge Ice As for ease, that's simply relative to the individual. I made it sound easy, but the reality is that everything I'm doing was a very long road and journey to get to where I'm at now. If you're not patient, consistent, and passionate about programming, then the journey will be an absolute nightmare to you. Most people fall off before they reach any type of mastery of it. Either way, best of luck to you. The average in my area is about 70k(entry level) - 140k(senior level) a year. That's if you're working for someone else. If you do your own thing, your potential is millions.

@Netkos Ent I mean I like programming a lot, I am in Eight Grade and we don't have something more then HTML there but I always make time for coding. Learning to code is fun for me and that's why easy.

@Force Ice Understood. I wish we had programming in my schools growing up. lol Back in the 90s I had to go and buy physical books to learn C++/C and then read through them that way. Gotta love how easy it is to learn/access material for free these days. Don't let the endless resources go to waste! Anyways, keep it up bro!
