Where do i make the Blog?

I think I missed something? Where am I meant to be making the blog? On note pad or on here?

you can make it on any text editor but there are ones designed for website making like notepad++

still a bit confused, when we are creating our blog, through the tasks section, am i meant to be updating my code as i go along, or do i just save the new bits of code then add them all into one bit of code at the end?
