Compared to what? No language is inherently tough on its own. They all require practice and dedication. The question you should be asking is, "Is C++ the language I want to dedicate my time and attention to?" and only you'll know the answer to that one. You might want to compare features with other languages to help you decide. On the other hand, questioning your motives for wanting to learn a language might help you figure out which one you should dedicate yourself to. Hope this helps.
