I don't know how to message people individually, but I know you'll be the first to see this... so... My question is if this is what you do all day? lol I'm also at "work," and couldn't help but notice you've been around all day like me. That's all I wanted to know. :D SoloLearn needs a friend/social system set up here.

Technically it's a learning app/website. The discussion board is designed for Q & A. But, I guess PM ability couldn't hurt.

This is true, but since they took time to create a profile/achievements section, may as well. :D It would help create a community between its users, and that's usually not a bad thing. As well, they could easily transform their Q&A system into something similar to Stackoverflow. Either way, it would be nice to say HEY! You all are pretty cool people, I wouldn't mind getting to speak with you all further and maybe collab on some projects together. PS - You're pretty cool too Sapphire. :D

lolol Understood. I was sitting at work writing some scripts, and stopped for a moment to check something on here that I posted yesterday. Next thing I know it's 20 mins until I get to leave work. :D Normally I'm on stackoverflow posting (you may like that also if you don't know of it), but found this since I use this app on my phone to learn when I'm not at my computer. So what's your long term goal with programming? You do it just for fun or seeking something in particular from it? I'm in the process of transitioning from business intelligence over to game development instead. Tired of doing boring corporate work for other people, and would rather be able to use my abilities toward something that's entertaining and fun. More so, I'd rather be given 100% creative freedom than having to do A - Z exactly how someone else wants me to.

xD I'm still in school (Exams), we are currently writing exams and I just can't get off this app. There are so many questions I just want to answer and I try to answer each one, if I can't I search it up. (That's how we learn, right?) So yeah.

No, it's only been today and a few days ago. I joined 10 days ago and I've always wanted an app just for programmers (community). So yeah, I'm enjoying this a lot

Now that this discussion "started" what is your main language? @Netkos

well... My main language is C# and recently I've been "forced" to do Java. But both is pretty similar tho, so I quickly learned to love it. I'm not completely sure what I want to do for my future, I know it's programing, but not really sure what... I love doing the logical bits and pieces, it's challenging but it just makes me feel good and useful. The recent projects I've been working on is some software for my school, where they can use it on a network to keep track of the students' marks, activities, Traffic (are they at school or not), databases and a few programs for certain subjects. (I guess software development?) And I only started serious coding about a year ago.

@Limitless It just depends what I'm working on. When I'm at work, I'm usually dealing with web stuff, so mostly HTML5/CSS/PHP/JS/jQuery/Java. When I'm at home, I'm mostly dealing with C# for my more recent projects (gaming stuff). I'm in the process of getting my own gaming company going, so C# and C++ are my two main focuses at the moment. How about yourself?

@Limitless Ah okay, awesome! Are you in college or HS? That's pretty cool about the software you got to make for the school. I've always been a fan of puzzles and pattern recognition, so when I discovered programming in my teen years, it was an instant love of mine. Back in the 90s I use to make these online text based games, which is how I ended up getting started with programming. Then I started making add-ons for games like Quake 1. I kinda fell off for many years and branched into networking for awhile, but have since returned to a programming role. You got Gmail or something like that? lol Will be easier to talk more later, and if you ever want to collab on a project, I'm always down.

@limitless Sorry bro, I had to leave work. lol I sent you an invite on Gmail. I saw the other thread where some others were wanting to collab on a project. I created a temporary forum so we could have the means of centralizing us somewhere that actual communication can take place. Join up when you see this. http://fata1err0r.freeforums.org
