I don't really know what you expect for an answer. But the very first thing that comes to mind is that in C++ You have to do a ton of programming to make your program user and computer friendly. But it is a very powerful program. C# has already a ton of these tools precoded. Garbage collections, User Interfaces are easier to make etc. Also a powerful language and people like using C# Because it's so easy

cpp is kinda platform independent and alot being used in embedded Systems programming ,game programming, etc,C# is windows bound.cpp is way harder to learn but offers alot freedom in expression, but this goes along with muuuuuch code you need compared to C#.its really depending what you are going to do with your programming, you want to programm Systems?C++.you wanna programm games?which engine?unity is c#,ue4 is c++.wanna programm mobile apps?leave it be and learn java .love unix?dont go for c#.wanna programm ai?learn python.just sayin all this bcuz it seems like you want to decide which one to learn, and i like to say, depends on what your intentions are which is the best language for you and your plans and not about differences in the languages itself.every language has it strenghts and weaknesses.
