These exams (JEE main and advanced ) are one of the toughest in India ..
These comprises of Physics,Chemistry and Maths
First there is JEE mains and the next level is JEE Advanced ..On the basis of the rank of JEE Advanced ,the students are distrubuted all over the IIT's in India..The topmost mainly goes in IIT Delhi

Topic Change :- The Indian Institute Of Information Technology,Hyderabad(IIIT-H) is full of coding aspirants..Many companies like Google and Microsoft come here to find employees
The IIIT-H has many criterias for chosing students
1. They have their own exams
2. They take students on the basis of the rank of different Olympiads in the country on IT
3. IIIT-H also declares a cut-off score acquired in The JEE Mains(Conducted By CBSE , First level of IIT universities ) ...If u have got more marks than the cut-off you can get admission in it.

One more thing :- IIT's have less seats for CSE
as compared to mechanical engineering...I think there are only 923 so the competition is tough
