In this application I do not unstrand why use the function (input) when I read ex: input("the first no: ") . Please help me

Input is to take information from something outside your program. An example is if you want the user to give your program their name, then you need that input.

Input is connected to input device so that user use the program on his/her choice.
We don't know about user. By the help of input() . We take information from user.
