Learn c#. Then move to Unity and complete roll a ball and space shooter tutorial. After that watch for example 2d platformer tutorial or whatever you want. And you will be suprised how easy it really is. Also browse Unity API and manual. Stackoverflow and Unity forum are your friends.

well for one, choose a language that your determined to learn. (i highly suggest java). now if you cant find one on one training with a friend i suggest you look up tutorials online. if your wondering how to start hands on while you watch the tutorials, get Java Eclipse neon. now before you go on and try to make a fps, try to make a console game/ rpg. once your good with all the codes and meanings you should be good to go and make your own games. The simplest way is to learn C# and use Unity 3D. Also you can use UnrealEngine or Cryengine, but they are much more complicated and use C++ as base and also LUA language. I heard about GameMaker, but, as I know, programmers do not respect it.
