I am assuming. You want to count "how many times your website are visited by different people". Then use Google analytics.

I think. When you you will sign up for Google analytics they will give you script tag to include in your html file.

Google analytics is the best way to track visitors and engagement. You can also track your revenue (if you have adsense) as well.
