using viewport based measurement for a font isnt a bad idea, it'll stretch and shrink with the window thus making it have more of consistent look.

on smaller screen though, i suggest to stick with em or rem, since the window will mostly be in fixed size on mobile device.

please note thats just a personal perspective of mine, and i'm not an expert in UI/UX design. so take it with grain of salt
