JavaFX has to be ported to Dalvik bytecode and Android gui elements and system support differ a lot from desktop computers e.g. you may have to relearn it for different platforms (if its supported of course).

Android has its own way of handling gui and events, which have been optimized and developer friendly throughout the years so i recommend using that.
