PDO or Mysqli ?

Question

I want to use PDO but i see that most of nowdays webaites using Mysqli !!

IMHO consider PDO if you think that there's a chance you'll be using another DBMS other than MySQL or MariaDB. PDO supports interfacing with various DBMS while MySQLi support focuses on MySQL and MariaDB.
