If you write a code that have a vulnerability than hackers will exploit it and managed to get access of your system.
So we need to think like a hacker.We need to know how to break code and exploit them.

You don't need to be a hacker, for security vulnerabilities in your software or apps or website, you can hire a white hat hacker to exploit the systems for you, such as sql injection, 0day exploits, etc.

there are several types of hackers
1. White hat hacker or also known as ethical hackers, there are "the good" guys which helps governments or organisation by performing penetration testing and identifying vulnerabilities.
2. Gray Hat hacker or "the in between good and bad" guy. They do both good and bad things with their skills.
3. Black Hat hacker or "the bad" guy, they penetrate the security system for their own personal gain, like sabotaging, stealing personal data, etc.
4. Green Hat hacker or "the amateurs" guy, these are the newbies that have desires to learn and become a full blown hackers.
5. Blue Hat hacker is the same as Green Hat hacker but their purposes is to take revenge on anyone who makes them angry.

6. Red hat hacker , these hackers are similar to the White hat hackers. Their job is simply halting the acts of black hat hackers. They way they against black hat hackers are ruthless. These are the most dangerous guy among the hackers community.
7. Script Kiddies or the amateur hackers who doesn't care much about coding skills or anything. They purpose is to only impress their friends or simply to gain attention. They use other developer or hackers scripts.
