There is no "best" programming language. It depends on what you want to do with it. Every language has its advantages and disadvantages. With languages like javasript, there is a higher chance of not getting what you expect but with C++ you get full control over what you expect yet Javascript is popular than C++.

Hmmm, that would depend upon the purpose of your code.
My experience is if you are doing a lot of math, python works well, but so does c++.
With C++ it's easy to control external devices.
I don't know about the abilities of the other languages in these areas. So basically it is the need of the end user that can be used to make a decision as to what is the best language.
