Hi Swim! Long time no see! I like your proposition because I'm facing the same issue when dealing with long answers. Fortunately, the web version is a bit generous in regard to char limitation (2048 max) but most users wouldn't enjoy of the same luxury in the app (1024 max)!

WARNING! If you're going to post your answer through web version, you should have to be careful when "editing" that answer later on through the app. The character count might be above 1024 and you end up to lose part of your answer. Also, sometimes (most of the times nowadays!) when you click on the post button in the web version the send process get stuck in an infinite loop (you must refresh the page) and again you lose your entire time-consuming answer if you forget to copy it to the clipboard before sending.

Danijel Ivanović Sorry, I didn't know that. I thought that only programming-related questions were allowed in the Q/A. But as you are a moderator, you are certainly more knowledgeable about this topic. I am going to delete my previous answer.

I dont know about char limit. I thought it is for ads blocking, like messages that has 1024 max letters too...
