What's the best editor for programming?

I'm wondering what to install on my laptop for coding. Especially for WEB and Python. Any suggestions?

I would recommend Sublime. It's very powerful, it helps out with various tedious tasks and it's a honorware, so you can choose to pay for it only if you like it enough. https://www.sublimetext.com

I found JetBrains products so useful and I recommend to use PhpStorm that is for it. You must buy it for use, but buy it surely; because it supports many languages and excellent PHP syntax and error checking. Read it's new features: https://blog.jetbrains.com/phpstorm/ Download and try: https://www.jetbrains.com/phpstorm/

I use PyCharm for my usual coding, and while it can be difficult to configure, once it's done, it is a really powerful IDE. And it can do we as well... (but dont try languages like PHP, not compatible at all)

I am using atom. It's pretty basic. But it's amazing. You just type in the start of the tag and don't even need the opening symbol. And it's sooooo expandable. So that is my personal opinion.
