Of course the first thing I would like to emphasize on is 'Practice'. If you keep practicing , you will naturally remember things just by muscle memory. It doesn't have to be a boring practice by repeating the lessons, it can be as simple as making an application like calculator for fun as a practice. The next thing is your way of memorizing things. Of course practice is the best way. But you need something to back it up in case we 'accidentally' forget a keyword, etc. You can remember some keywords/terms inside a programming language by relating it to your everyday life or something. Lastly, don't rush, the more you rush, the lesser information your brain will absorb.

Video tutorials always worked out for me...Reading books can sometimes (actually, most of the time 😑) get boring and with so many complicated words written, it may seem like you are reading a bunch of things which make no sense... Try watching good rated video tutorials....this will help you learn the basics...YouTube is actually filled with good video tutorials try those... After that try solving problems...you will find so many problems you can't solve....search their solutions online and check what you did wrong....this will build up your knowledge with algorithm Also use tutorial feature in sololearn app....try the challenge feature after you finish tutorial course... hope this helped 😊
