Problem solving

Is it ok to look at a solution of a problem if we don't try to solve it too hard, but still try and we see that it is hard, or should we keep trying for longer?

Depends. If you are doing a homework assignment, you should have been taught everything you need to figure it out and really shouldn't. However, if you do, you must never steal somebody's code. Try to figure out what they are doing and, once you understand it, code it yourself without looking back. If you are doing it for fun, learning new tricks or techniques from someone is a great way to expand your knowledge. Once again, do not steal the code.
