i want to create a dashboard for tea plantation company.company CEO wants to check daily crop details and other stuff related to the plantations from one screen.(summay).what is the best language should be use?

if you work with SQL Server 2016, the reporting services are best for dashboard.

and you can use (sql report maker 3)
it's very old but useful program to creat dashboard.

I.e excel spreadsheets? database? (type?)

I would use a webpage on the intranet. As it sounds like it would be a static display. (if the company has this that is)
