Why is Internet Explorer still relevant??

It appears to be so obsolete, doesn't support so many functions. I personally hated it from first use. Microsoft even introduced Edge. Why should developers consider compatibility to IE when coding???

Probably only because lots of businesses still use Windows 7, and Internet Explorer. There are quite a lot of tools/codes out there that rely on Internet Explorer, so lots of businesses will not upgrade until Windows 7 gets to end of supported life.

it's dying, so don't worry too much about it. other browsers are used more.

Also because so many people (New on pc's) dont know anything about installing other explorers or they dont know even that other explorers exist, so they use the default explorer installed on Windows (Internet Explorer).
