What technology or gadgets would you like to receive under the xmas tree? What are you hopeful someone actually bought you?

I am hoping to get an Arduino kit to start tinkering with. I have an idea for a homemade security system that sends me a tweet whenever my front door opens. Then I would know if my apartment's maintenance crew stopped by if I was at work.
