What are the trend languages to study in 2018?

Hello everybody, I'm thinking about start studying a new language in 2018. My goal is to make an Android app. What do you think that is the trend language, the language that is growing a lot?

as you are interested in Android development , java is the better option , it has a big community , great support and always updated , you can also try kotlin
