code editor instead of dreamweaver

Hello there. currently using dreamweaver to learn to code (JS) and love the hints, predictions and blocks of code in INSERT section. is there something similar that I can download and use on my not so powerful carry around laptop? I'm a Windows person. sorry Mac fans. Thank you
