Yes you can! In fact programming doesn't just teach you how to create a program. It teaches you: • How to solve problems • Plan for the future • Understanding complicated terms • New methods to learn • Discovering new ideas • Breaking big problems into smaller problems • How to solve puzzles These skills can be used in a wide range of fields not just in the Programming world. Learning how to program will benifit you in many ways, but the road won't always be easy. Good luck bro!

I don't know anything about biology, but to my knowledge you can take advantage of both worlds (Biology and Computer Science) and start a career in Bioinformatics, which I have heard it is highly demanded today. Also, I have heard about Python, Perl, R, C and C++ as languages used in the field. But please don't take my word on this. Do yourself some research with this information to see if that applies to you, as you have more knowledge on the biology field. Good luck

wow, BIOLOGY 😅😅don't get me started how critical programming became this days, my friend's brother did biotech and PhD in genome mapping, DNA matching algorithms using complex ATCG LINKS . Maintenance of daily online logs for experiments that can be used and verified by other scientists involving complex and massively random data structures. pattern recognition in electron microscope digital slides, whose parameters can't be set by software professionals. and on and on. I believe that development in the field of biology can be accelerated wildly by deploying modern programming techniques by an biology professional. correct me if I am wrong

My dear friend, when there is desperation to learn , there is a way to learn. You can learn anything at any time at any age. Even programming, but required continuous efforts and patience to learn.

hi @Sumanth yes you can!! because programming is just only how you minimize and solve a particular problem with your logics and Anybody can learn programming, you can concentrate on bio-informatics area so that you can get the full benefit of coding and life science You just need to concentrate for learning programming. There is a quote for it "There is a will there is a way" mean "If one really wants to do something, one can", so if you have decided to learn something or you have the ability to learn then you can learn anything. Just focus on studies and start learning your programming. All the best for programming and for begginer this is best platform because here all community member are so helpful 😊😊

yes, you can be a good programmer. I can't call myself a good programmer but I do write codes and I studied business management. I saw that the key to programming is the passion. Go for it!

Hello, You are not here alone, many of us in SoloLearn are not actually reading Computer based courses. Personally, am reading Biochemistry at the moment, but I love computers, I love software. Now, the only thing you have to know is that kind of programs do you want to code. Knowing this will make you focused and have a clear vision as to what you want to do. Personally, I want to confess, I was stranded for nearly 3 years because, I didn't know what kind codes I wanted to write. When I realised that I want to write web applications, I started here in Sololearn 53 days ago. There are many problems in the world, including your Biology field, that you can solve using coding skills. Dive deep into your ambition and learn. Wish you Godspeed.

Never give up bro! If you work with determination, you'll one day inspire other outside course takers to learn programming. Just believe in you. Winners are those who believe in themselves. Take time , love what you do. Hearty wishes for your future. Happy coding!!!!

If there could be any limitations on a person to pursue an area of interest based on their former and current associations unrelated to the same, I guess an amateur poet, engineer, content writer like me would have been proven obnoxious to think of making programming her strength and a powerful stress buster. The fact that you have an idea about the dendritic connections in a human's brain is unrelated to your passion to explore newer dimensions of life in general. PS- Comments are gracefully acknowledged by me. :)
