None of the courses here on Sololearn will tell you how to make an app. They will however teach you the basics of various programming languages, many of which could be used to create an app. Ipangs suggestion to start a course (any course to get your feet wet) is good advice. Java is a popular choice for budding app developers.

Hey there similar question i had when i joined this app. You see this application will not help you to create an application, but it will brush up your basic knowledge. Apart from that if you have any queries regarding programming language or structure you ask questions and you will get best answers from all our the world. If you want to assess your self you can use challenge option to participate in quizzes. You can also post your code and get reviews on it through which you can improve your coding. You have several options like code of the day and make friends on SoloLearn.

You may not learn how to create an app, but you probably won't get an opportunity as warming or inspiring to collaborate with fellow programmers of your day.

It's your first day, I would at least give it a few weeks before deciding that it's not a worthy app. This can be a great learning environment. Do not judge a book by its cover.

You have to craw and sit before you can walk and run. so also start with any of the courses and then you will know what you need to know to create an app. note it might take alot of time depending on your level of commitment

@Faraz Khan, first start learning then you can start developing, developing app without knowledge can cause issues in app later.
