Memorizing the programming language commands

should i memorize the commands of the programming language by heart to be professional then i heard i needn't to

the thing is, both are true in some way.
You WILL memorize the basic ones by simply coding, and if not, you have to memorize them then. But if you are not using some of the commands so often, you will forget them anyway.
My teacher said to me one that "you do not have to remember everything, but you have to know that such a thing exists".
If you remember that there was some command that do something, you can just google it!
So do not force yourself to memorize things, everything comes with time
