You can try to take a course in Sololearn.
If you interested on making webpage, take a HTML, follow by CSS and Javascript courses.
If you interested in develop system application, ypu could consider courses like Python, C++, C# or Java courses.

*challenge people
*answer questions
*ask questions
*upload codes or look at codes in code playground !

practice is good but SoloLearn challenges are repeated and simple not advanced level. reading, learning, coding, challenges ( actually challenges outside Sololearn are much better )

I use sublime,its easy on eyes and its love. best for web development

Practise is key.
Without practice, I wouldn't be probably be havong 7300+XP in Python, for instance
