Inspiration to program in general or inspiration toward an idea of what to program? For me, it's easy. When I discovered programming back in the 90s, I was instantly in love and it's my #1 passion in this life. So for me, simply getting to program or deal with it makes me happy/inspired/motivated/etc... Stick me in front of a computer and that's enough inspiration for me. However, sometimes you're tired or whatever and simply don't feel like doing anything productive. When I'm feeling that way, I have to step back and remind myself of all the reasons why I do what I do. What is my goal? Where do I want to be and what do I want to be doing? Every moment that I'm not working toward it is added moments that it isn't happening. By my desk I have things hung up on my wall that remind me of what I want, where I want to be, what I want to be doing, and what I wish to gain. It is a constant reminder that me grinding through this right now is going to pay off in my future, and if I don't do it, it will ALWAYS just be things I wish for. You can wish for shit your entire life until you die, and they'll die right there with you. Or, you can manifest your wishes into reality and live them while you're alive. When I'm in a funk, I have playlists of videos/music/etc.. that help lift me up or refocus my mind on the right thing. Everyone has their own ways that they alter their inner world, so you'll just have to find what works best for your personally.
