Why are "quizzes" different from the examples?

Currently, I'm looking to solve the last question found in the constructor module and I don't see any similarities with the examples we were given. This is not the first time either. Am I the only one lost here?

The questions have to be different. To show you have learned, you have to show you can generalize from the given examples.
