Why do YOU code?

... is it for pleasure or intellectual growth, to save money on software for your business, something you like doing with friends, or maybe it's the simple allure of a better job? what brings you here?

Initially, i just wanted to hack some Facebook accounts. After that, i just wanted to do something because i was bored. Now, i just want to solve these bugs. Q. Why do you code...? A. Because, banally, it makes me feel good. What about you? Why do you code, Shane? :D

I came here to hack so that I can retrieve my stolen gaming account. (actually I set this up earlier to learn Python) Then I just got interested in coding and forgot my game.

Why do you code ? 》Computer programming is a type of passion. 》The pleasure it gives after facing tons of error and making the best ever program. 》Also it is so passionate that the programmer stays 3 days straight without sleep until program has been done. 》If you do for earning. ..then you are wrong.... Steve jobs, the apple co-founder never developed apple for money or business. It was his passion that drove him to make a Huge APPPLE. INC. You should follow your passion.....if it's in coding then do it.....

Initially, because it was a fun way for me to build something with very little physical resources. Now, because it's given me and my family a more comfortable life and more time with each other...and I just love coding.

Complex question for me. I started out not wanting to code! I was obliged to take an introductory class on scientific programming for my MSc in biotechnology. The lecturer just wasn't well suited for demonstrating concepts to beginners. I started resenting the subject and couldn't see the practical applications as a biologist. How wrong I was. After I chose to give it a second chance via independently learning at my own pace, I grew to love it. I'm mostly enjoying making little games at the moment, but I do have some more advanced projects that will help me with processing data from my lab work. I feel addicted now to automation, and I can't get enough. My eyes have been opened to a field I had no idea I was missing out on for so many years

It's my passion. I like to create something useful. I enjoy the process of creation so much that sometimes it's hard for me to stop. I like the feeling that I get when my project is finished. I'm happy to be a programmer. Interesting projects, good people, decent money - that is all I need 😀

First I started coding because I found that it was a well paid job, but when some time pass I realize that I totally felt in love with it, and now I code for the pleasure.

Obviously because I'm an IT Student but to me, the reason i code is because it gives me a challenge and whenever i succeeded to accomplish my goals in a certain project. It feels like, you've done something good in your LIFE with your own efforts! :) Coding is fun! Nakakagigil lang minsan :D

why do I code? when I was 13 I was heard about mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates then i became biggest fan of Mark Zuckerberg. he is my ideal and I was also tech savvy but slowly I get interested in programming in 9th standard 😋when I bought my first 😊 PC now I found coding is really powerful it's give you the power of changing world with your innovative thinking.you can help people by creating some special thing.. and according to me the most important thing is maybe you can create a job by using the computer technology which is really important in country like India where most of people unemployed....I only want to say programming skills give us the ability to solving any problem you can use this super power to do anything. and sorry for my bad English 😥
