thanks for the suggestion @chunduri..I've started reading the book yesterday.Let me read it more some days,then I'll surely look into the videos.
MIT OCW vedio lectures with problem sets along with the book Introduction to algorithms suggested by @shamima is one complete package which is very good for data structures and algorithms. It takes some time to complete the process, but persistent effort can be very rewarding. I am in the middle of the process, if anybady would like we can dicuss how to derive maximum out of the cource by making it interactive and less painful.
I know one app which explain with animations it was so easy to understand all sorting ways
