Old Teacher In Texas

I am making my 52nd trip around the sun... I am middle teacher/coach in Texas that is tired of the crap that I have to deal with on a daily basis in regards to constant changen laws a regulations proposed by law makers who never set foot inside a classroom or written lesson plans or deal bratty kids or parents that consider me to be a professional baby sitter... Due to this and other stresses, I am looking to get out of the classroom! So my question is this... Is it too late for me to make a career change? Is there a place in the workforce for someone like me or am I just foooling myself? Y'all be honest with me. Be blessed, Coach Stuer

James Stuer imo it is never to late to learn something new and even make a new career out of it though it may be a short journey. In today's marketplace with the internet and more and more people working from home and remotely elsewhere it isn't about age as much as getting the job done and in a somewhat time management acknowledgement. IF you say two weeks try to have the project done in 10 days or less. AND if there is a problem be upfront, "I had a problem and had to do research as this was something new to me." Not because my dog ate my homework or I blew out my knee or tore my ankle on a drill / or during a game with Texas A&M.

Hi! in any case, it is worth trying. since you do not lose anything and do not risk anything. on the contrary, you gain new experience. provided you have enough time to do so (at least two hours a day for classes). my advice is to decide on the direction in programming (each direction has its own specifics and its own set of technologies and programming languages). if you just want to start with the basics, then start with the language C. This will give you a deeper understanding of the computer architecture and especially RAM (in which all the work of the program takes place). also important is knowledge of algorithms and data structures https://www.sololearn.com/Course/C/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/learn/773/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/learn/774/?ref=app
