Tallent or degree

Does in programming field a degree is really required or the thing a boss search for in applicant is tallent ? I have just passed class 12 and about to enter next phase in my life but in our country if you want to study computer science you must excell in physics , chemistry and maths . And even if you are able to do so they will first teach you basics of advance physics chemistry and maths for 1 year and after that start from very basics C and then C++ this will take another year and then teach other .

@Sahaj Look this way - programming is about learning someone else's individual logic and building Your tools in thinking in their way. Science is about learning God's Plan logic, whitch is one and least. Then You just have to adjust it to build Your tool. Once You learn science You don't have to upgrade but add just knowledge. So... maybe it's better to be lazy anyway. But later... It's my opinion as a freelancing philosopher...

Science is useful in making 3D games else except for that science is not that important in programming if you don't wanna make games . If you have a revolutionary idea then talent is better , make the app or something through your talent and show the world what you can do . But if you want a job , a degree is more important , especially in India .

Seriously engineering nowadays have less to do with talent. It's your ability to manage or study within a single day (or night for that matter). I'm not trying to be negative

Man, don't be lazy - as You lile programming, many intellecrual tools of nature sciences will bring You a big profit. It all gives a podsible new ways to do Your code best. Really, if You think of starting with development a year earlyer - what will it bring You? The profit pool of that is coding closed - You have a time to start. Maybe You will become a scientific programmer or just get an inspiration from the nature You will know. Most revolutionary inventions are inspired by nature or somehow suggested by something/someone. @Utkarsh, talent is just an average of a reached knowledge. You improve talent by learning yhe new. Science gives many varyed ways of a look at one problem. It's simple - programming teaches a procedured way of thinking while science law can make all operarions in one step. Make schemes - not probes...

@Michal So you mean science can inspire me in coding ? Well I would also like to study it . But what I really meant is that in exams they ask only PCM and the top scorers of them are given chance to opt computer . In my class many computer lovers just left studing computer so that they could focus on PCM for future with CS . What do you say if I couldn't get good enough college with CS branch then . In india the best one are given only till about 1000 rank . @Frost what do you mean by that ?
