Summer project

I am fairly new in tech. I just learned how to do some basic program in C over the last couple months but I want to start getting projects and things to show for in my portfolio. I also want to do projects that will be fairly challenging, but useful for the future (in terms of what I will learn). Any ideas on what I can do? As mentioned, have only coded some in C and have close to no tech knowledge-so all suggestions are welcome! I am even open to trying projects in other languages if thats recommended.

Please only ask specific programming questions in q&a, this is great for the feed! I'd look up free c programming books. They usually have chapters of knowledge, questions at the end, and code challenges. When it comes to a project, think of one that you could personally use. Or just look up "c programming projects"

Thank you!! Should I repost it in the feed and delete this one?

No problem! And eventually they'll just "mfd" or mark it for deletion. Just for the future, happy coding
