Is it normal for me to feel sad for copying a code snippet from stack overflow? I don't feel okay even though I understand it.

it is totally fine. my fiance is a successful programmer with 10 years of experiance and he still does that. he always says that the main thing in programming is to know how to google, copy, and paste what you do not know.

I think that's the normal thing "most" programmer do. (Including me...)
(Edit: But you should search only the problem you found. Like "Get input from Entry tkinter python")
