No one language is hard.
It depends from the user:
Wich interest, wich topic, wich field etc.
But I think after learning and learning the language comes easier, I'm not very able to answer very correctly to your question, bcs all answers are correct.
But I think for beginners it's a bit hard Java, or any other language, but it's difficult to say.
But I can say that for ME, the easiest language is js, for beginners too.
