Do I need a high school degree to be a Data Scientist?

At the moment I am a high school student, but at the same time I am studying online and independently to become a Data Scientist, which is what I really want to do, but the school is constantly bothering with totally unnecessary things, the teachers don't even know how take a photo with my cell phone, thanks to this quarantine I realized how badly organized my school is and how mediocre the teachers are, I would like to leave it and study something really useful with good online teachers.

Yes you can be a data scientist without a college degree. But you must have great skills. And you must be passionate. Google also recruit stuffs without college degree. They just need skills.
