You don't have to do <style type="text/css">
It's a seperate css file , sololearn links all these files so you just have to worry about writing the code as you would in a external css file , without no style tag

Yup remove that tag and you will see your css works ,what you are doing is called as internal css which is written inside the head tag of html file

Between it's working fine but you don't have any of the id or class name in html file that you are targeting

Also move that script and place it just before the closing body tag
