What programming languages should I learn as I am about to major in mechanical engineering?

I need help in knowing what programming languages that will be essential for me as a mechanical engineering major.

I dont think mechanical engineering will need an essential programming language. You should take some CAD courses, good math, physics and chemistry. Check some youtube videos on what mechanical engineers do they may mention what software/tools they use.

mechanical engineering deals with embedded devices, so id place my bets on python and C++.
