Is it worth giving too much time?

I've been doing competitive coding . Sometimes it took me 3 to 4 hours while solving a question with all successful running test cases and sometimes half of my cases fails. I wanted to ask you that is it worth giving this much time or I should time bound myself?

parag sahu competitive programming is an art to master, if you are doing it for more than 6 months to an year then you should be comfortable with it to an extent that you can atleast think of a solution to the given problem. During interviews, they do not always expect you to reach the right solution but check how are you going about it. Keep in mind the time and space complexities of the solution because that is the key. I'm not even a bit into competitive programming but have read few things here and there. Take this as a suggestion and just solve more problems. You will get comfortable with it eventually. Also YES, it is definitely worth your time. These efforts are making you better than others each day and I wish that you get your dream job one day.

U don't need to restrict yourself with time. The idea is to learn. No matter how much time it takes far as you finally get it and you've learnt how to do it. You have achieved your aim
