You can use Kotlin, but the examples are not complete so reading them in other languages would be needed. If iOS is your mobile target, Swift is another option. There are frameworks that support both iOS and Android. Any general purpose language can be used, but you might have to build the support yourself. That tends to make doing it too costly.
