Gyorgy Theisz I investigated chemical reactions of protien in the laboratory using test tubes and chemicals and samples... I don't know about distributed computing Application thingy😅 but that would be great if you can make a software regarding that

Will the queue contain tasks only? If so, then quizzes, by then each client gets a unique task. Once the quiz gets answered it is sent back to server and removed from queue if the answer was right. Otherwise it stays in the queue for the next client to pickup. If the queue can contain other things, perhaps online ticket system? hotel room reservation? Not too sure though! haven't got my coffee yet and it's been raining and cold since morning 😁

You could use such a thing for humanitarian purposes, and possibly outsourcing. It could be useful for translation as well, similar to crowdin. It could also be useful for collaborating on practically anything I guess. Just a couple thoughts... not sure if I'm on target or not. Gotta get back to work.

I have also heard about distributed computing used for deciphering thought forms and patterns. We humans give out electrical signals when we have thoughts and they could be interpreted prehaps.

ChillPill🥇pro🥇 You mean like the tasks each players get in online games :- like collect 10 candies to unlock collector badge / 10 kills for a special gun OR Specific tasks for the whole world that NEEDS to be completed for once, and if anybody in the world (or a community) completes that tasks then that task is no longer available for anybody. in that case in my opinion you can build a database for scientist community and make those task to be everything thing that yet needs to be discovered or formulate a solution for Like :- -Cheap cure for Cancer, -What is inside a blackhole?, -making an domestic fully functional ROBO Maid. Everytime something is discovered or given a solution for, that solution can be stored up in your database as for this person has finally gave a solution for this " " which is.... and for inventing the Time Machine Uncle Ben would be getting the Gold 'Mr. Einstien' badge. . . yeah no money Uncle Ben, off you go now. 😂😂😂

How about deciphering cryptographic messages. Languages and communication is constantly changing. Cryptography and encryption likewise is always changing so a distributed computer system that can keep up to play deciphering messages. There must be lots of new words and slang everyday in every language. Could be useful for interpretation and diplomacy. for example read old English and read modern english. Read Latin and Spanish and you will see what I mean.

MCGA -Med Coder, Gamer, and Artist under Computational chemistry on Wikipedia I can see about 100 softwares. I haven't use any of them, but I'm sure couple of them support distributed architecture. There is no other effective way to test millions of combinations of proteins. I thought you met this method in the university.

Maybe it can be used to decode an encoded message.

Support projects or set up your own to decipher barely readable handwriting in different languages. It would require some proof algorithms to make sure, tasks are completed not only once, but a couple of times etc. But I guess it would help some to solve some real existing tasks.

I think chemical reactions of proteins are investigated that way. Maybe MCGA -Med Coder, Gamer, and Artist can mention examples.

ChillPill we use a DCA software for various levels along the real estate industry... each level / department have their own internal DCA tasking software as well.

looks like i am late to the party here, but would it be possible to allow the user to send a task to the server that could then be broken out into smaller work packages that could be distributed? in that case you would have a multi use case platform instead of a task specific one. since this is one month old, where did you end up with this exciting project?
