You can learn C if you want to make enterprise applications, games, Graphic User Interface (GUI), Compiler. You can learn C# if you want to make windows applications, mobile applications, client-server applications and database applications. You can learn Java or Kotlin if you want to make android application. Java also use to write AI programmes. You can learn Swift if you want to make iOS application. You can learn Java or PHP if you want to make websites. You can learn SQL also if you want to be a database expert Because there are so many good Job as a Database expert or database designer or database analyst. Though SQL is not Programming Language but it has so much scope. You can learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Though these are also not Programming Languages but you can make static and interactive website.

As you can see from the range of responses, you have many options based on need. If unsure, C and Python are good starting points as people have suggested.

For me i advise you to start by C because it is so basic and more difficult So by starting by this language u will be capable to learn the rest quickly and easily

C C will be better. C is hard but C is too useful, fast and powerful. so, you should learn C.

go to roadmap.sh for a whole Roadmap of web development. It reaches from basic HTML to advanced full-stack API’s etc. I highly reccomend it. It even has links to the best tutorials online It’s amazing!

I recommend you to start with C language. C is a structured programming language. So if you are new to programming (I assume you are) you can understand the flow, and all basic syntax are easy to follow.
