Yes, it is difficult to remember all the things that you have learnt in the tutorial. What you need is practice. Maybe you are directly jumping from learning to making a big project which is very difficult at this stage. Try making small things first. The small things sometimes make the big difference. Try out some small projects first like basic calculator, to-do list, etc. You'll get such small projects iseas if you search on Google. It will be easier for you if you practice whatever you learnt till now so that you can become better at it. Also go outside Sololearn and search other sites too for some advanced topics which are not available on Sololearn. Sololearn just provide the basic of the course. There are many other resource from where you can increase you knowledge and then practicing that knowledge will help to sharpen your skill.

As Nova said, the most important thing is practice. Reading the tutorial is not enough - you need to do it with your own hands and experience directly how it works. Also it is natural that you forget things here and there. Try not to hurry through the material (Sololearn gives you only the basics, there's a whole lot more), proceed calmly and make sure you really grasp (use) everything you encounter. Additionally you can support long-term memorization with properly planned-out repetitions. https://code.sololearn.com/W4P13u4XCmf9/?ref=app https://code.sololearn.com/cBsq5rYsIB1A/?ref=app https://code.sololearn.com/cL3QVCSUn0bp/?ref=app

Computing is a field where you learn more by doing rather than by memorising.

The more you use the code the stronger the connections get in your brain to recall it next time its needed, it takes abit of time but soon you will code a full program without having to look at anything, practicing is everything in programming 👍

Mirielle🐶 [Inactive] your words remind me of the speech of Wiseman when he said once "your successful and failure is a situation of your brain and the universe will hardly help you to get what you want regardless of what it is . successful or failure"

Advice - Practice makes perfection, I can’t elaborate more than this. Don’t be disappointed if you see codes and apps that looks pretty complicated. Believe me, those who made such apps like Instagram, WhatsApp or Facebook have practiced decade maybe decades to make such apps. You need time. The difference between a master and a beginner is time. You need a good team that inspire you and push you beyond your limits. Write clear and readable codes along with comments. It will help you to read your own codes after decade and let other programmers know what you did. Syntax should be written with utmost concentration. A little syntax mistake can rise lots of problem like forgetting a semi colon or writing fuction() instead of function(). Write meaningful and simple names for your variables, functions or whatever plus master reading others code. Again, I can’t stress more than this, for others already did. There is no such big problem in coding, there is always a set of small problems that forms that big problem. Read a lot of books, books have always been the best resources to learn anything. Read at least 100 books about your major. Don’t think you are bored while coding. the bitter truth is that you are not bored you are just not motivated. Don’t always believe in Youtubers, saying top 10 programming language to learn in 2018 when you see the list, Pascal comes first. Don’t worry about the time to learn coding. It usually takes decade to master a language. Just make sure you are not going astray. Every good thing needs time, don’t hurry to make stuffs done overnight. I mean, the real story is actually probably pretty boring, right? I mean, we just sat at our computers for six years and coded. ~ Mark Zuckerberg

First of all don't disappoint because it's happen with everyone. Now solution to your problem according to me is that Don't just read all the lesson at once what you have to do 1st complete one topic of the subject like you read about form in html now try to implement this on web using Notepad or what ever suits to you. And meanwhile try to make notes on paper so that whenever you get stuck in between you can see on that. After that go to next topic try to correlate the things , I. E old one with new one . Hope it will help you

hi I am in a similar zone as you. I have been programming for a year but I am new to html/css world. From what I have understood, Sololearn will teach you elements of the language so you will pass the quizzes but to write a program it may not be sufficient. I have helped myself with reading sample codes from people posting in the community , that will give you an idea on how others write and how the webpages come together. hope this helps !

it doesn't work that way. going through all the lessons to blindly remember the functions would not make you a good coder.

Follow a course and write code with it and do not depend on answer questions here. You should watch videos and do what they do. Imitate the websites and write code a lot. This will help you

hey there are two waus to approach the problem..: 1) logically 2) above logic... #know with the logical method reapetition is the solution(copy example of other people until you can create your own..) #also with the above logic awareness is the way(focus on the little you know and try changing anything to see the result....)
