Do I need a diploma for hiring?

I just started to learn python, is enough to be a self learner (and have good results)? Or you need a diploma for hiring?

wet water ))) that is what i was thinking as well, but i see everywhere this thing, but there is no sense if you are good or very good in what you are doing

Most of it companies only cares about your knowledge, in an interview they will exam you, so practice and knowledge are your best friends, not useless documents
