We call function as method in java both are same


I guess they mean the same


I don't think the term 'function' is used in Java. A method is a function in Java. So what I'm saying is that they're both the same thing

functions and methods are essentially the same. The main difference is that a method is a function within an object. In java, everything is an object, hence they call functions methods.
