Why universities still teach C and C++, and what is the future of these languages?

Why universities still teach those languages when there are, to be honest, easier and more popular languages such as C#, Python, Java(well this one is not easier) etc.? I don't know.

Because C and C++ still have future in video games and embedded systems. I think another reason is that they are languages that need a lot of concentration because they have a complex syntax. This makes learning to program in other languages feel the other languages easier to understand.
