They are more likely used as for web development, most games are written in C, C++, Java, Kotlin...

We use Java & Kotlin for Android Dev. but with the help of Apache Cordova or Ionic Framework you can create apps for all platforms Iphone, Windows and Android... e.g. a Note taking app

i know services like adobe phonegap allow you to use htmlcssjs to make an Android app but definitely don't expect it to be very good
