My computer will not recognized the commands for installation and the file is no where to be found. Im working out of windows 6.1.7601. Any help? Thanks!
Do you have the java jdk downloaded? if not go here and download the corresponding version: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
And are you trying to code with your command prompt? Or are you using a program, if not, I recommend the use of eclipse
